This paper explores the application of ChatGPT, a large-scale language model, in on-the-fly decision-making within autonomous systems. By leveraging ChatGPT's capabilities in natural language processing, contextual understanding, and real-time response generation, the study demonstrates how it can support autonomous agents in interpreting situations, generating actionable insights, and making informed decisions.
